@Vivaldi I love Vivaldi. So much, in fact, that I considered becoming an "ambassador." And while I think offering a ready-made free VPN can be a good thing, the timing of this couldn't be much worse given the recent developments with Proton that led myself and many others to wrap up our Proton subscriptions. Whether we like to think otherwise or not, *everything* is political, and I actually love Vivaldi not only because of their excellent product but for the fact they have hardly pretended to be politically "neutral" (and we all know what Desmond Tutu said about those that pursue "neutrality"); Vivaldi have been outspoken about Trump's "Big Tech" friends, AI, and - unlike Proton - are passionate about the Fediverse. So this doesn't seem like a good fit at all.
