@RichardKuklinskisIcyGlare @Terry The reason to us IR is because it's invisible. You could maybe get a UV laser if you're going that route.
Also, power over distance increases in distance by the square root of however much wattage you increase it. A 100x increase in power (watts) is only a 10x increase in range (in meters).
