I always heard that "touching Social Security was the third rail of politics". then why is #Musk
& #DOGE not being electrocuted?

I think part of it is how cuts are started, then stopped after a backlash, so people think the problem has been fixed. But it just let's them adapt their approach.

If I called my MAGA Rep to complain they could say, "Your Social Security benefits won't be cut." (What is not said is "yet." or never)
So we need to keep pressuring them.
