"Signal" is a extremely common term in communications. The fact that the term has been used for multiple things is neither surprising nor suspicious.

And the Signal software has nothing to do with the current administration. Some of its members happen to use it. Just like, say, Microsoft Word.

Yes, the administration is doing some awful things, but that's not a reason to make up stupid conspiracy bullshit.
