Let us remember that there are a lot of people around whose brains have broken. It will not be pretty while they screech and wail and demand we make them happy, but society will heal.
The rest of us will get by if we hold on to what is true, think rather than react and emote, separate people from ideas, and do more of what makes us happy.
And say no to people who demand we do what they want, especially politicians.
It's ok to let go of those who cannot be saved. It's sad, but no good will come of going down with them in their sinking ship.
