@qeeg @pepperz don't just do the maths. check your speed at different times of the day. you'll find that the average "unlimited" package is anything but.

i pay £20 per month for 20TB on my VPS, which gives me 2.5gbps both ways. i run wireguard on that and that's my internet (i also use a separate L2TP service). it's actually 2.5gbps (on the VPS).

if i go to basically any "unlimited" VPS provider, i might be lucky to get 800mbps throughout the day, at usually higher latency.
