PopeASDF :vepi: :jrbd:@jaap @revk we actively did this in the early days of the Internet… we needed to move a datacenters worth of servers… and we sent someone in to remove the drives, static bag them and label them.. load them in a carry on suitcase and fly across the country, drove them to our new Datacenter and racked and re-ip’ed them… all in less than a day… estimates on transfer time were crazy due to the size of the storage… I was surprised by how well this worked honestly.
