@root VRChat used to be better for disabled people when it (unofficially) supported user created plug-ins such as converting sign language to visible text, but then VRChat added anti-cheat and knowingly ended user made accessibility features.

Second Life has recently brought up their interest of using 'AI' to transcribe voice chat for deaf people and mutes have been plugging text to speech to the virtual mic port for awhile now so it'd be nice if VRChat steps up ad implement these sort of features to support accessibility.
