Knowing that universities have been completely captured by capital and are more about making money than anything else, knowing that fascists repressing student dissent is one of the oldest tactics, knowing that Trump is following a playbook that literally laid out their entire plan BEFORE the election, knowing that the right is and has been rabidly anti-intellectual for years, is it really that shocking?

This is the logical progression of work towards their clearly outlined goals, after all. I guess I wish I was more shocked.
