Just learned through @kitchen’s CaringBridge site that he passed away from cancer yesterday. 😔

Kitchen was one of the first locals I met when I moved to Portland 10 years ago. I lived not far from him in SE, so we’d regularly meet up to discuss industry nonsense.

We were both so excited when he was able to step away from work to bikepack around the world and so saddened when cancer cut his trip short.
