@Dicer The collapse of the "western style", ie. American, has everything to do with its descent into corporate mediocrity, tastelessness and disdain for beauty. France still has a healthy art scene, that while being influenced by manga/anime has not been culturally supplanted by it, because they didn't sink into the swamps of Calarts and Marvel slop and still maintain integrity.
