memTrying to read some web pages on the Chromebook where I don't have ublock origin installed and I'm being inundated with ads and pop-ups. How do people tolerate this? I don't object to ads. I object to the ways they make them extremely annoying. Animation, pop-ups, sounds, interruptions. I do object to tracking which is why I use ublock and everywhere else. The Chromebook has some other flaky things too. I should investigate the Linux mode.
