The science of weight gain and loss is pretty simple. When you eat processed carbs they cause your body to produce insulin which is your fat storage hormone. if this happens enough you get fat and if your insulin level remains high your body will not use the stored fat for energy like its supposed to. The way you reverse this process is to eliminate carbs and up animal saturated fats.
I weighed 500 lbs once upon a time and that's how i lost the weight.
