Why was there a policy of mass immigration in the first place? It's so the population wouldn't contract or remain static. Because capitalism needs a constant stream of new consumers, or else consumption stagnates, and if consumption stagnates there's no increase in profits year over year. And if there's no increase in profits, investors "lose confidence" even if the company they're investing in already makes billions of dollars every year.

Capitalism demands constant expansion, of markets, of population, of consumption, of everything, but there is no such thing in nature. All systems that expand eventually reach a plateau and cease to expand, but capitalism's very existence is threatened by that fundamental tendency. Hence, capitalism goes against natural law.
