Every time someone recommends stuff like #LineageOS, #Nextcloud, #HomeAssistant or #Linux as "alternative to big tech" without pointing to places where you can *buy that stuff ready-to-use* I want to scream.
So many tech enthusiasts are utterly disconnected from the reality of those who are not into tech it's not even remotely funny anymore. Even IF our education was good, recommending to just flash your own smartphone is utter insanity.
