Anybody pearl clutching at this stage is uninformed or unwilling to admit:

-that we have lost our democracy already
-that the 2026 elections at this rate either won't happen, or will be shams
-that our own healthcare is threatened regardless of privilege
-that this is going to take stepping out of line
-that POC and LGBT people have been experiencing threats to life their entire lives and are better at this, and
-that the rest of us had better immediately follow their lead.
