Also, my lovely daughter, she of the 18 years of age and really curly hair, is going to go on a catwalk as a model for the first time ever tomorrow right in the middle of the Paris Fashion Week.

I have no idea how to feel about that, but (a) she will be chaperoned by a friend of the family, who is a designer at the show and (b) she seems to be having a lot of fun, so I have got that going for me.
