    I'm thinking a lot about two incidents of violence, and how they play off what's happening in the news.

    Leelamma Lal, a 67 year old Indian American nurse, was brutally attacked at her hospital in Florida, and suffered severe life-threatening injuries.

    The attacker said “Indians are bad. I just beat the shit out of an Indian doctor”

    This isn't not only about one specific case: it reflects the violence healthcare workers face, and racist narratives in the community
