You ever look at stone carvings described like "at first glance this seems to be a bird, but there is a mysterious extra line extending from the left wing, perhaps intended to be a mythical 4-winged birdlike creature? Scholars disagree on interpretations."
And you get the feeling if you could talk to the artist they'd say "my hand SLIPPED ok??? I had the bird almost done and I scratched that extra line and couldn't polish it out! Shut up about it!!!"
