SpinnerAdam Mockler said, "Any peace deal without security guarantees is only a piece of paper." He's right. President Zelenskyy stood his ground when they ganged up on him, because they wanted to profit from him and still hang him out to dry. A guarantee of security against Russia ignoring the terms of a deal, that is a prerequisite for lasting peace.
