I'll never forget watching a video where a group of Kentucky coal miners with black lung took a bus to DC to appeal to Mitch McConnell for help getting the medical care they needed. He ran into an elevator and let the door close on them.

I remember thinking, "Man, the irony is those guys probably hate Bernie, and Bernie is the guy in the Senate who probably cares the most about them. And literally anyone cares more than Mitch."

I think some of these folks are starting to realize that.
