You don't believe there is value in having a term that distinguishes between the guy (it's always fragile men) who demands meat at every meal and someone who explicitly doesn't even want to eat meat every day?
If flexitarian is not okay for you I guess both are carnists, but what would you suggest we call the former (obligate animal torturer)?
