Should I likewise conclude that Atlanta Roller Derby "has lost" to the Atlanta Falcons because their audience is orders of magnitude smaller, too? Have my 20 years in roller derby been wasted because it "lost"? Or is it enough to know all the lives I've touched, all the lives that have touched mine, and to know all the struggle, joy, and people who've been made better for it?
