      Do you know who gets the most federal welfare in this country? Elon Musk. Tesla gets a $7500 federal subsidy per car, and up to $4000 state subsidy. They also get $2.8 billion a year in carbon credit. Without this Tesla will be deep in the red or a bankrupt company. No amount of DOGE savings from government layoffs can come close to the subsidies Elon got.
