Remember the battle that is actually happening right now is about "what can we really do about Africa" more or less.

We have huge swaths of people and land that are a continual disaster, and the plan since WW2 was "actually everyone is equal (or equal enough), and if we just do a Marshall Plan on Africa, everything will work out"
