The media screamed for months that it was a "customer service issue" that also affected liberal groups. There were SEVEN liberal groups affected, and they all had their issues resolved in a few months. Conservative groups were held up for YEARS. Many of them simply dissolved rather than fight the government.

There was also an incident where Obama named a bunch of conservative donors in a speech. One of those donors came forward later and said he was subsequently audited by four different government agencies. He also said that other named donors faced similar harassment, but were afraid to speak up.
