Lianna (on Mastodon)Has anyone got any recommendations for something to read set in an optimistic future, perhaps something like #Solarpunk, without the heavily hammered down "messaging" and tokenisms usually prevalent in those settings?
I am quite sick of these quasi-ironic obvious fourth-wall "winks" at the reader that drive down the moral of the story in plain words every time. I would love some interesting stories that stand on their own.
