heh, nod, I cheated, I had a vague recollection that you had made inroads in this field as well 😉

I can totally relate with that feeling. I've often faced deadlines that required me to stop polishing and microoptizing just when I was having the most fun. but fixing bugs is what I do for a living, and I enjoy that a lot.

ironically, when it comes to writings, I prefer to leave them alone after publishing them; I enjoy working and changing them while they're in my hyperfocus, but after that wanes, it becomes almost painful to revisit them 😞 since that state doesn't usually last very long, I have a huge pile of unfinished drafts that I'll probably never get to a publishable state; I can't fathom keeping at a piece of writing long enough to turn it into a book, but if I did, I'd probably never want to touch it (as in changing it) again 🙂
