@pharmafemboy reading this post now it definitely sounds like a migraine. Even if it isn't painful, I get those from time to time. For me it looks like geometric shapes with a jagged rainbowy outline and they slowly expand across my field of vision. Entirely painless but entirely un-fun to experience.
