the same filename syntax i gave tramp two days ago suddenly doesn't work anymore. it's nice that emacs gives debug stacktraces but because this is an internal function i have no clue what i'm doing wrong

chat, what am i doing wrong? I've installed Putty and it's on my env, i'm doing the following:

and it fails. using tramp-dissect-file-name after digging it up from the stacktrace shows Tramp doesn't even consider it a proper remote file name. what the hell? this was working two days ago.
