so after like half a decade i installed no man's sky again and..

what they got right:
* i like flight simulations and it's not great but not terrible at that.
* LADDERS. the ladders actually work, unlike in any other game ever.
* performance is so much better than it used to.
* it does look nice

what they got wrong:
* yes please let me grind for chromatic metal so i can use my fucking warp drive
* i love wasting my time collecting worthless shit off the ground so i can take off
* the story lines are ass
* omg please just give me a ship and let me shoot space cops please i don't care about the grind

ig combining this with a savegame editor so i can skip the grind could make this a decent game
