Even the local federal workers aren't in DC, they're in the suburbs of Virginia and Maryland.

They stupidly think that because DC votes 85% Dem, it's because that's where the workforce is. I guess there isn't a demographer on the DOGE team.

I'm glad Virginia holds its elections in odd years. We'll get to see the fallout of this as soon as November, provided the republic lasts that long...
