Hm, the Tool does not seem to be working either, as I don't really think my 1 GB download file of my Mastodon archive generated on my PC really is corrupted.

UPDATE:

LOL, it is a rather silly mistake to not be able to read the standard file-name format of your target platform.
In short: after renaming the file (had a hunch) it worked! :)
