@thesofafox here, there's a discoverability issue. There's a ton of stuff here that people just don't see because right now, Fediverse works by follow relationships on an instance basis.

Meaning since I am on my single user instance, if I don't follow someone or have a relay that pushes their content to me, I don't see it.

Therefore, if I don't know it exists, I can't know to follow it...so yeah. That's an issue for smaller instances as well and it favors big instances because if a lot of people on one instance follows many people on many other instances, then all that content is easily found....on that one instance.🤦♂️
