The "solution" would have been to have made wider snowpaths, but it would have taken my twice to time to clear that up. I have an extremely thin path from house to front yard, there's basically no place to put the snow anymore there. There's a giant 4+ft pile on my back porch already and the walls of the paths down below are probably easily 3 feet tall already
