It's pretty simple - you're either sincere and in a relationship with honest giving intentions or you're in a relationship for transactional reasons. It can be transactional and still honest but lots aren't honest about their intentions leaving the person on the receiving end pretty insecure. Poof! A whole cottage industry of relationship gurus and "attachment style" analysis!
