Maxine Waters had a serious challenger for the first time in years in the 22 election.

He's a Navy veteran who grew up in the district, and his entire campaign was going door-to-door with a poster of the mansion that Maxine Waters lives in outside the district.

She does not live in her district, but some loophole lets her keep running because the district boundary used to be different or something like that.
