This is brilliant -- a pattern which *uses* the curl of stockinette to make a toy snake which doesn't need any stuffing! Basically the body is just curled up stockinette; what I've found from the one that I started (yes, I'm doing this pattern) is that the body cross-section is like an oval, since you have two round stockinette curls side by side.
