I see folks taking a *shrug* what can you do?? approach to microplastics and I encourage you *not* to do that.
First, vote/advocate for reducing plastics everywhere you can.
There's no way a spoon's worth of microplastics in your brain is *good* for you.
And they're everywhere.
But you can filter your water, don't store in plastic, vacuum w/HEPA, switch to products w/out plastic, cut open tea bags, etc.
I've got a list of like 25 things that I'm doing, most very small, to reduce exposure.
