I’ve lived with the UGLIEST metal horizontal blinds for years, which my landlord didn’t want removed but were already bent & broken when I moved in. I put sheers on top, but it was a mess. Well they got so bad…it was one stupid wide blind…they finally bowed so much, I (finally) decided I wasn’t living with it. Bought magnetic Roman blinds, which reminds me of shoji screens or sails with battens. I love it. And it nicely blocks out the less than attractive view. I love the look.
