Was very surprised to learn that many <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/HBCUs" rel="tag">#HBCUs</a> had <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/ceramics" rel="tag">#ceramics</a> programs, most of which are now defunct. David attended Hampton U and had an African American ceramics professor, Joseph Gilliard.
