In this moment where I am seeing everyting torn down around me, and I see all the people in powerful positions around me saying "all we can do is be polite and civil while they steal our future from us!"....

...I am reminded that the people who know how to fight this are the exact people who are never allowed to be in positions of power.

I mean we all hopefully know that right, but like.... I didn't expect the experience of it to be this direct and stark.
