PeterWatching David Lynch’s Dune. Obviously not the movie he intended to make (you can absolutely feel the lack of final cut), but it’s still ambitiously weird and contains some of the greatest sci-fi imagery ever. It’s not my favorite, but als not my least favorite Lynch! (Sorry, Elephant Man!) And yeah, taking the two Villeneuve films together…I do prefer Lynch’s version. That first one showed a lot of promise, which the second one squandered big time.
