One of the most famous kobzars, according to legend, was Okhrim. He wandered through towns and villages, singing of the glory of the Cossacks and the bravery of Ukrainian people. But above all, he praised freedom – the spirit that lived in people's hearts even when enemies tried to crush their land. It was said that his songs held a mysterious power: when he sang, love for the homeland awakened in people's hearts, and the enemies felt fear. 1/3
