@dymaxion That was a terrifying realization while talking to my sister (who disappeared down the Evangelical rabbit hole over a decade ago): the Book of Revelations is the only part of the bible that she takes seriously, she thinks it‘s a genuine prophecy, and she can‘t wait for it to come true.
So even though she calls herself a Christian, she’s really a member of a death cult that is loosely based on one cherry-picked part of the bible. Hence any appeal to Christian values falls on deaf ears.
