The ship in Baltimore was piloted by a harbor master, just like every ship in a harbor (ships are usually not allowed to pilot themselves in harbors). Harbor masters need 10+ years helm experience. The boat lost power, and he still managed to call mayday and manually dropped one of the anchors. It was not a DEI hire problem, it's the fucking disastrous state of ships that are falling apart in our oceans problem.

The blackhawk crash looks terrible. Seems like only 4 people survived. I'm going to guess someone just made a mistake; either the plane or the helicopter were at the wrong altitude or the air traffic controller gave the wrong instructions. Maybe DEI hire caused, maybe not. But it doesn't really matter to the 60+ people who are dead.
