The problem is, parasites in bugs are often microscopic organisms that are very hardy, so they are not as easy to kill with heat, compared to e.g. a tapeworm. And to make the problem worse, preparation for bugs often leaves intestines in place, unless we talk something like shrimp. Just drying bug powder in sunlight is not enough. Result is a concern for parasites thanks to bugs in diet.
