Treating HIV in other countries keeps the HIV rate in the US low. If recent political appointee confirmation hearings are any indication, conservative men in the United States should be quite concerned about how many people have HIV because they are sleeping around. Seriously. I’m not kidding. If HIV gets ripping, it will inevitably spread in the US too. Every case I’ve recently diagnosed was in a heterosexual male.
