I started watching it in the 60s as a young child and had no problem with a female or black incarnation - they're a timelord and can do what they like, it's just all the virtue signaling crap and all the sanctimonious lectures they keep ramming down our throats. No matter how they change episode or series numbers, people are just sick of it.
