ICE is starting the deportation of Indigenous people… yes, you heard that right.
The thing is they’re not deporting them yet per se, but ICE — who handles this type of fascism — is detaining them. With Trump wanting to end birthright citizenship, a law made in 1924 that made Indigenous people of the United States citizens could be overturned as well.
The thing is — where would they be deported? That’s where the trap lies. They will not be deported, they will be put in the concentration camps at the border indefinitely while the case is being “processed”.
I am not sure what else to add at this time but this is very concerning.
